Tamil Nadu is one of the top tourist destinations in India due to its rich culture and heritage. It is a land where the tales and influence of Chola, Pandya and Pallava dynasties can still be witnessed by the visitors in the form of their temples and architectural monuments and customs and traditions. There is an essence of spirituality through the abundance of temples, a touch of tranquility through its soothing beaches and hill stations, an aura of wilderness through its amazing wildlife, a feeling of joy through its festivals and art forms , a spirit of liveliness in its colorful markets. The famous Meenakshi Temple, the southernmost tip of India-Kanyakumari and the mesmerizing hill station of Ooty are the major places which draws tourists to the State throughout the year.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVE CHENNAI

Arrive Chennai and our tour representative will pick you up and straight transfer to your hotel. Check-in and after freshen up get ready as you will visit some of the most popular spots in Chennai that include, Fort St. George, St. Thomas Mount, San Thome Cathedral, Kapaleeswar Temple and the National Art Gallery to just name a few. In the evening, you are free to visit the peaceful Marina Beach. Later return back and stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2: CHENNAI – KANCHIPURAM – MAHABALIPURAM

Morning after having breakfast, you will be leaving for Kanchipuram which is known as the city of the thousand temples and en-route you will also be counting on Mahabalipuram which are the spiritual spots of South India. The major attractions at Kanchipuram include Kailasanthar Temple, Ekambareshwarar Temple, The Vardarajanperumal Temple, and the Sakkiswarar Temple. Later, you will be visiting Mahabalipuram which is one of the oldest cities in India holding the famous temple of Lord Vishnu. After visiting the temples, you can transfer to the hotel to stay overnight.

DAY 3: MAHABALIPURAM – PUDUCHERRY

After breakfast, you will dedicate your day to the spiritual establishments of Mahabalipuram and Puducherry. You will be visiting some of the most popular places namely, Shore and the Five Ratha Temples, Arjuna’s Penance and the Tiger caves at Mahabalipuram and later take a visit to Puducherry, take a leisurely walk amidst the land of palm trees, fishing villages, and backwaters. At the end of the day, reach the destined hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 4: PUDUCHERRY – SWAMIMALAI

Today morning after breakfast, you will get a chance to realize that Puducherry is no less in making you surprised with its pilgrimage spots. Visit the Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville Golden Globe followed by a drive to Swamimalai, which is a panchayat town in the Thanjavur district in the state of Tamil Nadu. En-route you will be exploring Gangaikonda Cholapuram – the capital of the Cholas and popular for having biggest Shivalingam in South India and Chidambaram. After you reach Swamimalai, you will be dropped to the hotel where you will stay overnight.

DAY 5: SWAMIMALAI – TANJORE

After breakfast in the hotel, you will straight away have a visit to Tanjore which is a renowned city for all the famous temples it has. You will first check-in at the hotel and, then penetrate across the Navagraha temples out there along with Shiva Ganga Garden, Aalangudi temple, Brahadeshwara temple and the Chandra Bagawan Temple in the list. After all the visits, return back in the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 6: TANJORE – MADURAI DEPARTURE

Post breakfast, you will head to Madurai city in Tamil Nadu from where you will be boarding your flight for your onwards journey back home.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVE MADURAI

Arrive at Madurai and our tour representative will transfer you to the hotel where a room for you will be booked already. After resting for sometimes, you will be taken for a sightseeing tour of Madurai, which will start by visiting the famous Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar palace and Gandhi Museum. At night you can stroll around the temple area and enjoy the aarti or window shopping. Overnight stay in Madurai.

DAY 2: MADURAI – RAMESHWARAM

After breakfast, drive to Rameshwaram to visit the famous Ramanathaswamy Temple, Gandhmadhana Parvatham, Hanuman Temple and also Dhanushko. Then during the afternoon, you have at all times to explore another face of Rameshwaram with water sporting activities tasks, which includes kayaking, jet skiing, stand up board, windsurfing, snorkeling, coral enjoying. DAY 3: RAMESHWARAM – KANYAKUMARI

DAY 4: KANYAKUMARI – POOVAR

After the morning meal, you will proceed to Poovar from Kanyakumari. On arrival check-in to your resort and relax at the beach resort. Afterwards you can go out to enjoy the beach. Overnight stay in Poovar.

DAY 5: POOVAR

Today morning after breakfast the day is completely upon you as to how you want to spend it. You can relish any activity of your choice in the resort or outside it. Overnight stay in Poovar.

DAY 6: TRIVANDRUM DEPARTURE

Post breakfast in the morning complete your check-out formalities and you will be transferred straight to the airport to catch your flight to onwards destination.

Here you will be visiting the Vaikuntha Perumal Temple which is an entity of the Dravidian architecture dedicated to the Lord Vishnu and Laxmi, followed by the Varatharaja temple, Kailasanatha temple, Ekambareswara temple and last but not the least you will be visiting Shore temple at Mahabalipuram, which has its roots in the Pallava Dynasty. After covering a lot of divine destinations, you will be dropped at the hotel of Mahabalipuram where you stay overnight.

DAY 3: MAHABALIPURAM – PUDUCHERRY – TANJORE

Early morning after breakfast in the hotel, you have to step out towards Puducherry which is the popular Union Territory of South India holding peace on the coast. Here you get to discover Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Churches of Pondicherry, Auroville, Gandhi Statue, and French colony. Later you will continue your journey to Tanjore where you will stay overnight on arrival.

DAY 4: TANJORE – TRICHY – MADURAI

After breakfast, you can fulfill your heart with another Dravidian architecture, by roaming around in the sacred Brihadeeswarar temple which is also known as the Rajarajesvaram temple. Later in the day, you will be directed to Madurai and stop midway to visit Trichy where you get to explore more architectural ventures among which, the Srirangam temple is considered to be the most renowned. Furthermore, get into height and overlook from the Ucchi Pillayar Vinayaka Temple. At the end of the day, you will return back to the hotel and stay overnight at Madurai.

DAY 5: MADURAI

After breakfast, you will have a tour at Madurai where you will be delighted to visit the most heard, Meenakshi temple which is more than 2500 years old built by the Pandyan king, Kulashekarar. Now you need to get away your eyes from here and check the Thirumalai Nayak’s Palace and the night ceremony of Madurai temple. Later return back you to the hotel to spend overnight.

DAY 6: MADURAI – CHENNAI – DEPARTURE

Post breakfast in the morning check out and you will be transferred straight to Chennai airport to catch your flight to your onwards journey back home.

DAY 5: PONDICHERRY – TIRUCHCHIRAPPALLI

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Tiruchchirappalli, as you arrive, check-in at the hotel and rest. Later, head out for sightseeing attractions like the Grand Anicut/Kallanai Dam (it is a popular picnic spot and the only stone dam in the world, it is 300 m long ancient dam, a perfect place for family picnics). Ranganathaswamy Temple, Rockfort Temple, Jambukeshwara Temple are also a few must visits. Return back to hotel after the tour for an overnight stay.

DAY 6: TIRUCHCHIRAPPALLI – THANJAVUR – TIRUCHCHIRAPPALLI

Today morning after breakfast go for an excursion tour in Thanjavur and catch a glimpse of the ancient structures built by Marathas, Nayaks and Cholas. They were also great philanthropist who supported the art and culture. Here, you can visit places like Sivagangai Garden, Sri Brihadeeswarar Temple, Mariamman Temple, Mariamman Temple and Schwartz Church. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 7: TIRUCHCHIRAPPALLI – RAMESHWARAM

Checkout form the hotel after early breakfast and drive to Rameswaram. You can check-in as you arrive and rest, later visit attractions like Ramanathaswamy Temple and Gandhamadana Parvatam. Overnight stay at the hotel in Rameshwaram.

DAY 8: RAMESHWARAM – MADURAI

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to one of the oldest Indian cities, Madurai. Madurai is an ancient city with many temples, it derived its name from the divine nectar dripped from Shiva’s matted locks. Once here you can visit sites like Thirumalai Nayak Mahal, Meenakshi Temple and Mariamman Teppakulam. Overnight stay at the hotel in Madurai.

DAY 9: MADURAI – KANYAKUMARI

After breakfast pack your bags and checkout form Madurai and drive to Kanyakumari, located in the southernmost part of India. It is the meeting point of three oceans, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal. Here, you can visit Swami Vivekananda Memorial, Gandhi Memorial, Kanyakumari Temple and Sunset Point from where you get a riveting sight of the sunset. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kanyakumari.

DAY 10: KANYAKUMARI – TRIVANDRUM DEPARTURE

The last day of the tour will start with a breakfast, you can check-out later and will be escorted to Trivandrum airport/railway station for your onward journey.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: COIMBATORE – KODAIKANAL

Arrive Coimbatore and our tour representative will assist you for your transfer to Kodaikanal. On arrival check-in to your hotel and freshen up. Later visit Green Valley, Telescope House, Kurinjiandava temple, etc. and return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in hotel at Kodaikanal

DAY 2: KODAIKANAL

Today morning after breakfast the day is scheduled for sightseeing in and around Kodaikanal. Visit Lake, Silver Cascade, Coaker’s Walk, and return back to hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay in hotel at Kodaikanal.

DAY 3: KODAIKANAL

After breakfast enjoy the local sightseeing. Visit Fairy Fall, Shenbaganur Gallery, Shenbaganur Museum, Pillar Rock, and Byrant’s Park, pine forest, etc. and return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in hotel at Kodaikanal.

DAY 4: KODAIKANAL – COIMBATORE DEPARTURE

Post early morning breakfast, check out of the hotel and straight transfer to Coimbatore. On the way, we visit Palani Temple and continue towards Coimbatore Airport or Railway station to board your train or flight to your onwards journey back home.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVE BANGALORE – OOTY

Upon arrival at Bangalore airport our tour representative will receive you and transfer you straight to Ooty.  On your arrival, you will check-in the hotel and relax post which you will start exploring everything from the skies to the beautiful surroundings and hills in the place. Later, reach back the hotel to stay overnight.

DAY 2: OOTY

Morning after having breakfast, you will leave for the wonderful local sightseeing where you cover a lot of locations like, Doddabetta Peak, the highest mountain in the Nilgiri Hills, Sims Park, Lambs Rock and also the Dolphin’s point. After you have explored Ooty, you will stay overnight in the hotel.

DAY 3: OOTY – COORG

Wake up to the morning breakfast and check-out from the hotel at Ooty post which you will set out on a guided tour to Coorg. On arrival, you will check-in the hotel and spend the day at leisure. Stay overnight after having a relishing meal at Coorg.

DAY 4: COORG

Today morning after having breakfast visit some of the best locations like, Omkareshwara Temple, Madikeri Fort, Abbey Falls, Raja’s Seat and also count on the famous Buddhist Monastery and the Golden Buddha Temple located in Bylekuppe. Stay overnight after your return to the hotel in Coorg.

DAY 5: COORG – BANGALORE DEPARTURE

Post breakfast pack your luggage and check-out from the hotel. Transfer straight to Bangalore airport or railway station to board your flight or train for your onwards journey back home.
