Delhi, India’s capital territory, is a massive metropolitan area in the country’s north. In Old Delhi, a neighborhood dating to the 1600s, stands the imposing Mughal-era Red Fort, a symbol of India, and the sprawling Jama Masjid mosque, whose courtyard accommodates 25,000 people. Nearby is Chandni Chowk, a vibrant bazaar filled with food carts, sweets shops and spice stalls. Delhi offers you from historical monuments to crowded shopping malls, from Mughal gardens to Delhi University campus, the capital city has multiple personalities. Delhi is a city where ancient and modern blend seamlessly together. It is a place that not only touches your pulse but even fastens it to a frenetic speed.

Delhi, the National capital of India is a cosmopolitan city with a historic old Delhi and the modern new Delhi. One will experience the two sides of the city on their visit to Delhi, one that has been preserving its culture and heritage and the other which is evolving into modernization with advanced technology and architecture. The city boasts of historical monuments such as Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s tomb and Purana Qila, popular temples such as Akshardam temple, Lotus temple and Iskon temple and must-visit markets such as Chandni Chowk, Sarojini Nagar markets.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL DELHI

Our representative will meet you at Delhi Airport/ Railway Station after your arrival. You will then be escorted to the Hotel and will be assisted during check-in process. Your first day tour includes visiting the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi- Raj Ghat and its neighboring memorials. You will then visit the well-known attractions of Delhi including Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Later after sightseeing, you will be allowed to do shopping or carry on other activities. Return back to hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 2: DELHI SIGTSEEING AND DEPARTURE

Post breakfast the day is scheduled for sightseeing in Delhi. Visit Delhi’s top attractions like Qutub Minar, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb and Lotus Temple. Besides, you will also be able to have the glimpses of the Government Buildings such as the President’s House and Parliament House. You will also get the opportunity to move around the most admired shopping center of Delhi- Connaught Place. In the evening, your journey will come to an end with your transfer to the Delhi Airport or Railway Station for onwards destination.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: DELHI

After breakfast start your morning with an early visit to the Qutub Minar, a victory tower that is Delhi’s most recognizable monument. Next visit Humayun’s Tomb, Delhi’s grandest monument and the architectural precursor to the Taj Mahal. After lunch visit India Gate. Make a quick stop at the India Gate memorial on Rajpath and take in the sight of the majestic buildings there including the Presidential Palace and the Parliament.  Walk south down Janpath to the National Museum to view the impressive collections of ancient Indian artefacts, Mughal Miniature paintings and Chola Bronze statues among other highlights. If museums do not excite you much, walk north up Janpath and visit Jantar Mantar and the Janpath flea market. Later head to Khan Market, or if you have the energy, head to the Dilli Haat to shop for art & craft and regional cuisine from different parts of India. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 2: DELHI

Today morning start your day with a morning visit to the Swaminarayan Akshardham temple. Try and catch the aarti prayer at 10 a.m. Later visit Connaught Place – Delhi’s best known shopping and meeting place. Take a stroll around the middle or inner circles checking out the colonial architecture and ducking into interesting stores, coffee shops and restaurants. Then head down Baba Kharak Singh Marg on which numerous emporia run by state governments sell reasonably priced art, craft and textiles. After lunch you may visit to the Sacred Heart Cathedral and head to the Jama Masjid, Delhi’s largest mosque. Later visit Red Fort which was the seat of power of the Mughal Empire and even now the venue of the Prime Minister’s speech on Independence Day. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 3: DEPARTURE

After leisurely breakfast you will be transferred to Airport or Railway Station to proceed to your onwards destination.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI

Meet and assist by our representative on arrival at Delhi airport / railway station. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Later in the day visit Raj Ghat , Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk , Humanyun’s Tomb , Rashtrapati and  Janpath. Return to hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.

DAY 2: DELHI SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, proceed for day excursion, start the tour by visiting Jantar Mantar which is located in the modern city of New Delhi. Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, Lodhi Garden, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple and Akshardham. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay in Delhi.

DAY 3: DELHI – DHARAMSHALA

Morning after breakfast check out and proceed for Dharamshala. Late evening arrival and check in at the hotel and retire for the day. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

DAY 4: DHARAMSHALA SIGHTSEEING

Today morning after breakfast proceed for local city tour. Visit – Naddi Village, Dal Lake, St. John Church, Bhagsu Nath Temple and Waterfall, Mcleodganj Tibetan Market, The 14th Dalai Lama’s Monastery & Residence (Namgyal Monastery). Evening return back at the hotel. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

DAY 5: DHARAMSHALA – AMRITSAR

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Amritsar. On reaching Amritsar by afternoon check in at the hotel. After freshen up depart for excursion to Wagah Border and Golden temple. Return back at the hotel. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

DAY 6: AMRITSAR & DEPARTURE

Post breakfast in the morning, check out and visit Jalianwala Bagh.  After sightseeing proceed back for Delhi. On arrival you will be transferred to airport / railway station for your onwards journey back home.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: NEW DELHI

As you arrive at the Delhi Airport, our tour representative would greet and assist you to the hotel. Check in to the hotel. Overnight at a hotel.

DAY 2: NEW DELHI SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast at hotel proceed for Delhi sightseeing covering Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Raj Ghat , Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, India Gate. Later in the evening travel to Manali by road (Night travel). Overnight at the coach.

DAY 3: MANALI

Arrive Manali and transfer to hotel. Later visit Naggar Situated on the left bank of river Beas at an altitude of 1851m. Visit Naggar Castle made of stone and wood, this palace served as the residence of Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. For art lovers, Naggar Castle has incredible art pieces on display. Worth-mentioning are the paintings of Nicholas Roerich- the famous Russian painter. As souvenirs, you can take home traditional items like wall hangings, coasters and artifacts bearing imprints of Roerich’s paintings from here. Return and Overnight stay at a hotel

DAY 4: MANALI SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast at hotel proceed for Rohtang Pass / Snow Point and Solang Valley. Rohtang Pass located at a distance of just 51 kilometres from the main town, Rohtang Pass can be reached only by road. The pass is located at a massive height of 3978 metres, the way up the hills is a treat to the eyes. As the vehicle climbs higher on the Manali- Keylong road, the beauty of the landscape around will leave you awestruck. Later Visit Solang Valley also known as the ‘Snow Valley,’ which is famous for hosting various winter adventure sports like skiing, parachuting, paragliding, trekking, and mountaineering. Return and overnight stay at a Hotel. 

DAY 5: MANALI-KULLU-DELHI

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel in the morning. Excursion to Kullu Valley, enjoy river rafting in the Beas River (on your own cost) enroute visit Kullu shawl factories and sale outlets. Later proceed for overnight journey to Delhi. Overnight at the coach.

DAY 6: DELHI

Arrive Delhi & check-in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure or you can enjoy your day in an amusement park – Worlds of Wonder or Adventure Island. Overnight stay at a hotel. 

DAY 7: DELHI-AGRA-DELHI

After breakfast at hotel, proceed for a full day excursion to Agra. Visit Agra Fort & Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The mausoleum was built by a sorrowing Shah Jahan in memory of his young wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Return to Delhi in the evening. Overnight at a hotel.

DAY 8: DELHI

Breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure/shopping. Explore Khan Market is a shopper’s paradise in Delhi. Sarojini market is another popular market of Delhi situated in the South West of Delhi city. Sarojini market promises unbeatable prices for all the latest and trendy collections and items. Overnight stay at Delhi. Overnight at a hotel.

DAY 9: DELHI

After breakfast, check – out from the hotel and proceed to airport/station for your return journey.
