Odisha is a magnificent state located in the eastern part of India. Odisha- the land of paddy fields and palm-fringed silver beaches, temples, rivers, waterfalls and tribal people, is filled with major attractions such as the temples of Bhubaneshwar and Puri, miles of clean beaches and the magnificent Sun Temple of Konark. The cities like Bhubneshwar, Konark, Puri, etc. have great significance in terms of tourism. The serene ambiance and nature’s exquisiteness of Orissa draw the tourists from all over the blue planet to savour a congenial and relaxing trip.  Odisha’s art and culture, fairs and festivals, dances and music are a treat for the tourists who love to see colours and wish to enjoy life to the fullest.

Odisha, a magnificent state located in the eastern part of India, is home to the vast stretch of lush paddy fields, silver beaches, astounding art and architecture which are predominant in temples, picturesque waterfalls and rivers and the ethnic tribes. The most sought tourist attractions in the state are the Konark Sun Temple, Jagannath Temple, Dhauli Shanti Stupa, Chilka Lake, Puri beach, Gahirmatha beach. The State’s rich art and culture, fairs and festivals, dance and music are indeed a treat for the tourists.

ITINERARY

DAY 01: BHUBANESWAR

Reach Bhubaneswar and check in to your hotel. After Lunch visit of Parsurameshwar Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Rajarani Temple and Lingaraj Temple. Overnight Stay at Bhubaneswar.

DAY 02: BHUBANESWAR – PURI

Today morning after breakfast we visit Khandagiri and Udaigiri Caves. Drive to Puri, on the way visit Chaushathi Yogini Temple and Dhauli Rock Edicts. The Caves of Udaigiri and Khandagiri dating back to 3rd Century BC are worth visit of the Sculptures of age old Artists depicting the Social life of the people of that age. Visit Pipli Artisan village. Evening free for shopping and beach visit. Overnight stay at Puri.

DAY 03: PURI – KONARK – PURI 

Today we visit Jagannath Temple – one of the major pilgrimage centers of India. Later in second half we proceed to Konark Sun Temple. It attracts around one lakh devotees every day from all around the world. We visit Chhaitana Stone Carving Village and Chandrabhaga beach on the way back to Puri. Overnight stay at Puri.

DAY 04: PURI – CHILIKA LAKE

Today morning we visit Asia’s largest brackish water lake at Chilika. On arrival enjoy boating at the lake to spot the wild Asiatic Irrawaddy Dolphins at the mouth of the Bay of Bengal and Chilika Lake. Way back to Puri visit Alarnath Temple and Raghurjpur Patachitra Village. Overnight stay at Puri.

DAY 05: DEPARTURE FROM BHUBANESWAR

After breakfast check out from hotel and straight transfer to Airport / Railway station at Bhubaneswar for onwards departure.

ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVE BHUBANESHWAR

On arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport met by our representative. Then transfer to hotel. Later half day sightseeing of tribal museum(closed on Monday), Khandagiri & Udayagiri Jain caves(oldest rock cut caves, the caves are reminiscent of influence of Buddhism and Jainism in Odisha). Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

DAY 02: BHUBANESHWAR

Morning after breakfast visit to famous city temples including Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, Mukteswar(Mukteswar temple, one of the most prominent temples of Bhubaneswar, has been constructed in the style that is quite similar to the one used in the Kalinga School of Temple Architecture and know as the ‘gem of Orissan architecture’), Rajarani temple. After lunch break visit to Nandankanan Zoo(closed on Monday). This Zoo is famous for the white tiger safari and Botanical garden. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

DAY 03: BHUBANESHWAR – PURI

Morning after breakfast drive to Puri en-route visit Dhauli (Buddhist Stupa/Peace Pagoda), Pipli (The applique work village) and Konark Sun Temple (Black Pagoda). Then proceed to Puri and check in to the hotel. Evening visit of Lord Jagannath Temple (Non Hindus are not allowed)/Relax on the golden beach of puri. Overnight at Puri.

DAY 04: CHILIKA LAKE

Morning drive to Chilika lake at Satapada(the largest Ramsar site of Asia and famous for its migratory birds coming from distance places). Take the boat cruise to visit the Irrawaddy Dolphins & Rajhans Island. Return back to Puri. Evening visit to beach market. Overnight at Puri.

DAY 05: DEPARTURE

Drive back to Bhubaneswar en-route visit Raghurajpur(Artisan village, the most famous attraction here is the Pattachitra, paintings on pieces of fabric). Then proceed to Bhubaneswar and transfer to Airport to board the flight for onward journey.

ITINERARY

DAY 01: BALASORE – SIMLIPAL NATIONAL PARK

Arrival at the Balasore Railway Station. Received at the station and escorted to the Ramtirtha Forest Lodge. Nature Walk and Nature Study at Herbal Nursery. Visit to Crocodile Breeding Farm, subject to time of arrival.

DAY 02: SIMLIPAL NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast at the lodge. Drive to Barehipani and Joranda waterfalls. Option to proceed to Gurguria Forest Lodge or return to Ramtirtha Forest Lodge. Dinner and an overnight stay in Forest Lodge(Ramtirtha/Gurguria).

DAY 03: SIMLIPAL NATIONAL PARK – PANCHALINGESWAR – KULDIHA

Breakfast at Ramtirtha/Gurguria. Drive to Panchalingeswar on the Nilagiri Hills, Balasore district. Check in at Panthasala Lodge. Visit Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary, 272 sq. km. Wide variety of wild life Tiger, Gaur, Sambar, Reptiles and Birds among others. Dinner and overnight stay at Panthasala.

DAY 04: BHADRAK – CHANDBALI – DANGAMAL

Post breakfast drive to Chandbali via Bhadrak by jeep. From Chandbali, motorboat cruise to Dangamal Island. At Dangamal, check in at the forest rest house. Dinner and overnight stay at Dangamal Island.

DAY 05: DANGAMAL – BHITARKANIKA SANCTUARY

Breakfast at Dangamal Island. Proceed to Bird Island and observe the thousands of migratory birds from the watch tower. Cruise across to the Bhitarkanika Island. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

DAY 06: DANGAMAL – BHITARKANIKA SANCTUARY

Breakfast at Hotel. Take the motorboat to Ekkakula, 4 hours away. An island on the Bay of Bengal, unknown and unspoilt, with a breathtaking view of the sunset. Look out for Wildboars, Hyenas and Jackals. Dolphins can also be spotted in the sea. Visit the Olive Ridley Turtle nesting site on the beach at Gahirmatha. Return to Bhubaneswar. Dinner and overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.

DAY 07: BHUBANESWAR – NANDANKANAN

Nandankanan Zoo, located in Chandaka Forest along the Kanjia Lake is the habitat of the White Tiger, 67 other animals, 18 reptiles, and 81 species of birds. The Zoo has successfully bred Black Panthers, White Tigers and the Gharial crocodiles in captivity. Drive to Bhubaneswar/Nandankanan Zoo in Chandaka Forest, 25 kms. Enjoy White Tiger Safari and Lion Safari, Botanical Garden. Lunch at Nandankanan. Return to Bhubaneswar. Dinner and overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.

DAY 08: BHUBANESWAR – CHILIKA LAKE

Chilika Lake: 1,100 sq. km of Asia’s largest brackish water lake is home to thousands of birds. The hills ringing the lake are inhabited by wild animals like the Black Bucks, Cheetahs and Porcupines. Islands dot the vast lake, the best visited ones being Nalbana, Kalijal known for the Makar Sankranti Mela, Satapada, Parikud, Malud and Brahmaputra. Post early breakfast, drive to Chilika Lake. Check in at Lodge in Barkul, 105 kms. Cruise on the Chilika by motor launch to the islands. Return to Barkul Lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkul.

DAY 09: CHILIKA LAKE – BHUBANESWAR

Breakfast at Lodge. Visit Nirmala Jhar temple, Narayani temple and Banpur. Return to Bhubaneswar for onward journey.

DAY 02: BHUBANESHWAR – RATNAGIRI – LALITGIRI – UDAYAGIRI

After breakfast drive to the diamond triangle of Odisha – Ratnagiri (Rich concentration of Buddhist antiquities), Lalitgiri (Oldest Buddhist center of Odisha) & Udayagiri (Largest Buddhist complexes in Odisha). Return back to Bhubaneswar. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

DAY 03: BHUBANESHWAR – PURI

Morning after breakfast drive to Puri enroute visit Dhauli – The Peace Pagoda, Pipli – The applique work village & Raghurajpur – Artisan village. On arrival at Puri check in to the hotel. Later visit to Jagannath temple / Relax on the golden beach of Puri. Overnight at Puri.

DAY 04: KONARK SUN TEMPLE

Morning after breakfast drive to Konark to visit the Sun Temple. Enroute visit to Ramchandi temple & Chandrabhaga beach. Return back to Puri. Evening visit to beach market. Overnight at Puri.

DAY 05: PURI – CHILIKA – GOPALPUR

Morning drive to Chilika Lake at Barkul – The largest Ramsar site of Asia and famous for its migratory birds coming from distance places. Take the boat cruise to visit the birds Island & Temple Island. Then proceed to Gopalpur and check in to the hotel. Overnight at Gopalpur.

DAY 06: GOPALPUR – BHUBANESHWAR   

Morning visit to Sonpur beach. Then drive back to Bhubaneswar and visit to Khandagiri & Udayagiri Jain caves. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

DAY 07: DEPARTURE

Post breakfast in the morning check out from the hotel and transfer to Airport/Railway Station for onward journey.

DAY 02: BHUBANESHWAR – RAYAGADA

After breakfast driver to Rayagada on the way visit some semi Saura Tribes village. Overnight stay in rayagada.

DAY 03: RATAGADA – JAYPORE

After breakfast visit to Chatikana Tribal Market. See there Dangariya Primitive tribes, on way to Jaypore visit San Paraja tribe village. Overnight stay in Jaypore.

DAY 04: POTORI AND BADA PARAJA VILLAGE

After breakfast drive to Unakadeli Market. Most primitive tribe in Odisha. Later visit to Potori Village and Bada Paraja Village and Gadaba Tribes. Overnight stay at Jaypore.

DAY 05: MALI TRIBES

After breakfast visit Kunduli Market. See Bada Paraja, Mali Tribes, Colourful market. Overnight stay at Jaypore.

DAY 06: JAYPORE – BALIGUDA

After breakfast drive to Baliguda via Tumudi Bandha. Overnight stay at Baliguda.

DAY 07: KUTIA KONDHA VILLAGE

After breakfast drive to Barkhama weekly market and Kutia Kondha tribal villages. Visit Barkhama brace metal village. Overnight stay at Baliguda.

DAY 08: BALIGUDA – BHUBANESHWAR

After breakfast proceed to Bhubaneswar(250 kms) on the way see black sugar factory, Untouchable village, Bamboo Basket maker village, Paper mask village, Atri hotsprint . Arrive Bhubaneshwar and check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Bhubaneshwar.

DAY 09: BHUBANESHWAR

After Breakfast visit to Mukteswar Temple, Parsurameswar, Rajarani & Lingaraj Temple. In second half visit to Khandagiri, Udaigiri, Zoo and Trible Museum. Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.

DAY 10: BHUBANESHWAR – PURI

Proceed to Puri Via Konark. On the way visit Dhauli Buddhist Monastery, Pipli Applicable work village, Konark Sun Temple, Chandrabhaga sea beach, Chhaitana Stone Carving Village, Overnight stay in Puri.

DAY 11: CHILIKA LAKE

After breakfast proceed to Chilika – Largest salt water lake in Asia, see Irrawaddy Dolphin, Sea mouth (lagoon) watch migratory bird. Later board on a boat and head back to Puri. In evening visit to Golden Beach. Overnight stay in Puri

DAY 12: BHUBANESHWAR DEPARTURE

Post breakfast in the morning proceed to Bhubaneswar for Railway Station/Airport for your onwards journey.
