A little bit more about it...
Geographically, Malaysia is made up of the Peninsular Malaysia (West Malaysia) and Malaysian Borneo (East Malaysia)- separated by the South China Sea and is linked to Singapore via the Second Link Bridge. This Southeast Asian country is one of the most visited tourist destinations owing to its gorgeous islands and beaches, scenic landscapes, iconic landmarks, rich biodiversity, rainforests, gigantic mountains, hospitable vibe and a plethora of water activities to choose from. The Capital City-Kuala Lumpur, features some of the tallest skyscrapers in the world including the Petronas Twin Towers and Merdeka 118, extravagant shopping malls, and fun activities to do like riding the Genting Skyway, rock climbing at Batu Caves, strolling through Chinatown to mention a few.
One can experience a unique mix of various cultures and ethnicity while touring Malaysia which is a result of immigration ever since it has achieved independence in the year 1957 from the British colonization. Hence, besides the Malays and the native groups, expect to also encounter residents belonging to China, India, Indonesia or other Asian countries. This kind of cultural diversity is reflected in the vast choices of cuisine, intriguing display of art forms, spoken languages, colorful festivals, freely practiced religions and lifestyle all of which blend harmoniously to make ‘Malaysia truly Asia’.
