Sikkim is a state in northeast India. It borders the Tibet in the north and northeast, Bhutan in the east, Nepal in the west and West Bengal in the south. Sikkim is also located close to India’s Siliguri Corridor near Bangladesh. The snow covered mountains & lush green valleys not only invigorate one’s soul, it also leaves the spectators bewildered by the extravaganza of its natural beauty.
Sikkim, the most popular tourist destination in the north east region of India is also the smallest state by area in the region. It shares its international borders with Tibet in the north and northeast, Bhutan in the east and Nepal in the west and its national border with West Bengal. The state is overloaded with tourist attractions ranging from the snow capped mountains to enchanting monasteries, from the frozen lakes of tsongmo to the yumthang valleys of rhododendron flowers, from the surreal views of Mt. Khangchendzonga to the rare exposure to the Himalayan wildlife. It would leave any spectator completely spellbound.

ITINERARY
DAY 1: IXB AIRPORT – GANGTOK
Meet & Greet on arrival at IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
DAY 2: GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast at hotel, start for a full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten & Banjakhri Falls, Ropeway (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
DAY 3: EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok. (In case of landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.)
DAY 4: GANGTOK – PELLING
After breakfast proceed for Pelling. Enroute visit Temi Tea Garden. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.
DAY 5: PELLING SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast start for full day sightseeing. Visit Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins. Overnight stay at Pelling.
DAY 6: PELLING – IXB AIRPORT
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and take the departure transfers to IXB Airport for your onward journey.

ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVE NJP/BAGHDOGRA AIRPORT
On arrival our representative cordially receives you at NJP/Airport and assists you to get to the car. Now we take you to Darjeeling. On arrival transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
DAY 2: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Early Morning excursion trip to Tiger Hill (at around 4am: the exact timing would be given by the driver a day before) to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on Mt. Kanchenjunga (8598 Mt.) (Subject to clear weather), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop War Memorial while returning to the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel followed by local sightseeing covering Rock Garden, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda. Evening free for leisure/shopping. We recommend a relaxed evening and short walk around The Mall to enjoy the typical hill life of Darjeeling Town. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3: DARJEELING – GANGTOK TRANSFER & GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, transfer from Darjeeling to Gangtok (Capital of Sikkim State). On the way, sightseeing of Lamahatta & Triveni View Point. Check in at Hotel. Get refreshed and start half day sightseeing in and around the capital city of Gangtok covering Banjhakri Falls, Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Institute of Tibetology, Chorten, and Ropeway. Evening free for shopping/ leisure. We recommend a relaxed evening and short walk around MG Marg. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: EXCURSION TRIP TO TSHANGU LAKE, BABA MANDIR & NATHULA
After breakfast, start for excursion trip to Tshangu Lake which is 40 kilometers drive from the city of Gangtok. A beautiful lake is situated at the height of 12,400 ft with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. From Dec to mid- April it is covered by snow & surrounded by snowcapped mountains throughout the year. This is followed by an excursion to the mysterious Baba Mandir, a small temple erected in the memory of the legendary Indian soldier, Harbhajan Singh. Later proceed to Nathula; Indo China Border (depends upon permission & weather conditions). Located at an altitude of 14,140 ft , Nathula Pass was the place through which the famous Silk route used to operate until 1962. In case of weather disruptions, Tshangu Lake, Baba Mandir & Nathula is not possible then alternative trip to Namchi would be provided.
DAY 5: (GANGTOK – NJP/AIRPORT)
After breakfast transfer to NJP Railway Station/Airport to your onwards destination. Tour ends with happy memories.

On the way stop over in beautiful spots which are worth seeing and visiting like Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) & Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachen,check- in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Lachen.
DAY 3: LACHEN – GURUDONGMAR LAKE – LACHUNG
Early morning (around 3:30 am) drive to Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft.). Back to hotel & transfer to Lachung (8,700 ft). Arrive Lachung by evening. Overnight stay at Lachung.
DAY 4: LACHUNG – YUMTHANG VALLEY EXCURSION
After breakfast proceed to Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft. Known as Valley of Flowers) & Zero Point. On the way visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Later proceed to Gangtok. On arrival at Gangtok Check-in to your hotel. Rest of the evening free for your own activities. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
DAY 5: GANGTOK – NJP RLY STATION / IXB AIRPORT

DAY 3: EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Explore one of the favorite lake in Sikkim which remains frozen during winters. Later you will be taken to visit Baba Mandir after which you will return back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 7: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill (8,400 ft.) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak). On your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
DAY 8: DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and take the departure transfer to IXB airport for your onward journey.
